All inclusive hotels make up the majority of accommodation but there are some self catering and bed and breakfast establishments available if you would rather eat out and sample good local cuisine.

Mexican cuisine is world renown for its intense and varied flavours, colourful decoration, and variety of spices. Try the local specials or stick to the our favourites Fajitas, Burritios and Enchiladas. You won't be disappointed.

Nightlife is mainley focused on the in-house entertainment provided by the hotel, but you can always head for Cancun if you prefer something livelier with its abundance of bars, nightclubs and casinos there is more than enough to keep you going from dusk till dawn.
